The system is fully portable with a full HD 17" display and can capture from virtually any signal type and coupled with an industry leading high capacity storage of up to 24TB it forms a very powerful DVR data retrieval system making it ideal for working with large volumes of CCTV data in SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) formats.
When configured with PoE interface cards cameras from 2MP to high-end 29MP (Mega Pixel) can be supported along with advanced surveillance software such as AVIGILON to provide increased functionality such as ANPR or video analytics.
PREVIS has been designed to be used as a standalone high quality surveillance system with extended capacity recording of HD video or for rapid deployment surveillance applications for specific events or locations where there is insufficient CCTV quality or coverage. Some example uses include events attended by high numbers of people such as football matches, political demonstrations, border surveillance or other monitoring and recording tasks such as OP's. A Trolley case is included to allow the system and associated cables to be easily stored, transported and rapidly deployed.
PREVIS systems can integrate with most existing equipment or optional cameras and housings can be included to create a complete system to fulfil virtually any surveillance requirement.
PREVIS combined with DCR provides a powerful solution for any CCTV investigator with several functions all designed to provide immediate access to evidence and offer significant time savings.
For users that do not require all the features of a full PREVIS system, a lower cost version can be created on a standard laptop with a USB 3.0 interface and VideoSHUTTLE hardware and an optional USB3.0 external storage drive. This configuration will allow DVR decoding, viewing and DVR retrieval up to the capacity of the external USB 3.0 hard drive. The external drive will then contain audio & video files in a uniform, standard format which can be viewed with Windows media player or similar viewer.

One System, Multiple Uses
PREVIS is a single system and when fully configured it can be extremely cost effective when compared to purchasing and maintaining several alternative systems, especially when these systems may also be ineffective by comparison.
DVR Retrieval, get the best possible image
Many DVR systems suffer from providing a low-resolution, low-quality compressed file export, capturing the precise information directly from the DVR in high resolution avoids this issue and further potential issues with playback software.
Verify Exported Evidence on-site
There are often problems when exporting data from DVR systems, such as incorrect cameras being chosen or when discs and files produced by the DVR are not viewable. Using PREVIS allows users to verify and or view the data while still on-site and if necessary, record the data directly to the system thereby saving another visit to recover the evidence.
Produce Standard Video Formats
Working with multiple systems and formats can often create problems or at the very least be an inconvenience for CCTV investigators. PREVIS produces all its output in a standard file format which can be determined in the system settings, meaning data can be shared or readily distributed, all the resulting output files can be set to the same CODEC and bit rate irrespective of their source. When used with other Vision Base systems such as ViewSTATION or DCR, all evidential files can be synchronised to a central Case Management location if required.
PREVIS is designed for rapid deployment for surveillance and DVR retrieval tasks and is a self-contained system. It is supplied with a storage and trolley case which easily fits in the rear of most vehicles and protects the system while in transit.
